This presentation and discussion will delve into what Opportunity Insights’ big data research tells us about economic mobility – where does opportunity exist, where has it been lacking, and what factors contribute most to advancing opportunity? In addition, this session will showcase how data tools, like the Opportunity Atlas, can be used by local leaders to inform economic mobility initiatives. Following the presentation, a fireside chat will focus on practical applications of these insights. Hear from leaders at Leading on Opportunity about their experience using OI data to catalyze momentum in their local community of Charlotte and direct a cross-sectoral focus on economic mobility outcomes.
